Nero was a bad emperor that murdered his half-brother, his mother, senators, and his wife. Nero also blamed the Christians for the huge fire in 64 A.D., when many thought he did it himself to clear space for his huge palace, the Golden House. During the fire that lasted for ten days, he played the lyre, a stringed, harp-like instrument, in a safe part of Rome.
